Active Players and Alumni

We will do our best to note all the current and former program members currently active in HISD  once the rosters have been released.  If you have a player who was formerly with Project Hoops and their schedule or team isn't listed, please let us know!

Project Hoops would like to congratulate our former Program Alpha, Nicholas Neuman on his graduation from Kingwood High School in the Class of 2020. While his Senior year was cut short, the legacy he left behind for the high school and the program will not be forgotten. Nick’s success in this role led to the dramatic expansion of the program.  Nick’s fingerprints will be on Project Hoops for years to come, and are evident in the players he coached, the new coaches that were brought on board, the members of our leadership team, and in the addition of girls teams for the first time in the history of the program. 

On the court Nick led the Varsity Mustangs to their first playoff berth in two years, averaging 12 points and 5 rebounds per game. He has left a legacy for up and coming players, and truly demonstrated how to dominate the post, and what it means to be a Mustang.

Nick will be attending Clemson University in South Carolina in the fall, where he will be studying business and cheering on the Tigers. Project Hoops thanks Nick for his time and effort over the past two years, and wishes him the best of luck in his endeavors.

Nick Neuman is a graduating senior in the Class of 2020.  Nick coached the 6th Grade Boy's team,  along with Braden Odom. Nick is a 2-year varsity letterman, who held down the paint for the Mustangs. He led the Mustangs to a playoff appearance and left a hard-working legacy in the program. 

Congrats to Tommy for his election as President of the Class of 2022!  Tommy was recently recognized for his on the court achievement as the 22-6A District Newcomer of the Year.

Walker Blaine is a graduating senior in the Class of 2020.  Walker is a 3-year varsity letterman, and has left a lasting impact upon the Kingwood Basketball Program.
